The Ski Mountaineering Skill Tracker

It can be very hard to know what skills you need and what you need to practice for ski mountaineering autonomy. That's why I compiled a list of 110+ of the most commonly used or needed skills for backcountry skiers and ski mountaineers so you can keep track of your skills in a variety of topics: rope work skills, maintenance skills, and other important ski touring skills or rescue procedures. This list helps you to understand where you're at and gives you focus on what you need to learn.

☕️ For the price of a Coffee you'll get:

  • The PDF version of the Ski Mountaineering Skill Tracker

How to use the files:

1. Download the file, keep it safe.

2. If using PDF version print it out.

2. If using Excel version, upload it to Microsoft Excel online or edit it on your desktop. The Excel version has drop down menus for each skill to list your level.
